If the truth is told, there was never any talk of the matter.

Sweden dominated the quarter-final meeting with Slovakia from the start and during large parts of the match the Slovaks had enormous problems even getting out of their own zone.

But they were not completely harmless.

The first chain led by the 14-year-old super talent Nela Lopusanova visited Sweden's zone on a few occasions and her 1-1 clearance was incredibly beautiful.

But Slovakia never came closer than that.

A while later, the Swedish goals began to fall in at a steady pace and after two periods played it felt decided, 4–1.

29 seconds into the third period, Ebba Hedqvist extended the lead to 5–1 and after that there was never any talk of the matter and in the end they won the match with a clear 6–1.

Now the USA, which they lost 6-3 against in the group stage, awaits in the semi-finals, which will be played on Saturday at 16:00 and will be broadcast on SVT1.
