The English Football Association opened an investigation with Oxford United defender Sirawn Brown regarding allegations of manipulation in the last match, which his team lost 0-3 against Arsenal last Monday in the FA Cup competitions, in addition to suspicion that he deliberately received a yellow card.

According to the local newspaper, "dailymail", the game federation will take advantage of its powers and check Brown's phone and track all his phone calls, messages or even his conversations on social networking sites, as part of the aforementioned investigation.

The newspaper confirmed that the Football Association decided to open an investigation after it "reached a set of evidence" of manipulation by Baron for purposes related to betting, which are messages via the WhatsApp application.

The 24-year-old Northern Irishman is accused of deliberately receiving a yellow card, in the 59th minute of the match, after he grabbed Bukayo Saka.

While the “Daily Mail” confirmed that it had received many messages from a group of people who confirmed that they had made great gains from their bet on this match, at a time when others claimed that they saw many Arsenal supporters celebrating after the player received the yellow card, which increases doubts about command.

For its part, Oxford United confirmed that it was "aware of these accusations," stressing its full commitment to cooperate with the FA in these investigations, while the club refused to make any position or take any decision until the results of the investigations are issued.

Brown has been playing in the center of defense since joining Oxford from Cardiff City, then he switched to the left-back position, and it was likely that he would start the match from the bench, but the coach brought him in specifically in order to monitor Saka.
