Three people, including Yoshimi Yamashita, who served as a referee at the men's World Cup Qatar tournament from Japan, were selected as referees for the Women's Soccer World Cup, which will open in Australia and New Zealand in July.

FIFA = The International Football Federation has announced a total of 107 referees, including the referees and assistant referees of the Women's World Cup, which will start in July, and the referees in charge of video assistant referees.



From Japan, Mr. Yamashita was selected as the referee for the second consecutive tournament.

Last year, Ms. Yamashita was selected as one of the first female referees at the men's World Cup held in Qatar, and served as the fourth referee for six games in the primary league, assisting the referee in making decisions.

In addition, Makoto Bozono and Naomi Teshirogi were selected as assistant referees.



Mr. Bozono was selected for two consecutive tournaments, and Mr. Teshirogi was selected for three consecutive tournaments.
