The Vietnam national soccer team led by coach Park Hang-seo defeated Indonesia led by Shin Tae-yong to advance to the Southeast Asian Cup finals.

the first leg of the semifinals, Vietnam, which ended in a goalless draw in Indonesia, scored the first goal in the third minute of the first half in the second leg held at home.



As the ball came from behind, Nguyen Tien Linh penetrated the penalty box and shook the net with a right-footed shot.



As the Hanoi National Stadium became a crucible of enthusiasm, coach Park Hang-seo roared with clenched fists, and coach Shin Tae-yong tried to maintain a calm expression.



Vietnam, who wanted an additional goal, and Indonesian players, who were looking for an equalizer, fought fiercely throughout the first half, and Vietnam regained momentum in the second half of the second minute.



In the corner kick situation, Nguyen Tien Linh jumped up again and opened the goal with a header.



He tied for the top scorer with his 5th goal in the tournament.



Vietnam, which held off Indonesia's offensive until the end, won 2-0 and advanced to the final.



Coach Park Hang-seo hugged and encouraged each player, and the home fans jumped up and down and enjoyed the victory.



In the Southeast Asian Cup final, which will be coach Park Hang-seo's last journey, Vietnam will face off against the winner of the Malaysia-Thailand match for the trophy.
