Frölunda's newly started women's team invests heavily in order to step up in the SDHL immediately.

In the squad, young Swedish players alternate with big stars such as Hanna Olsson, Michelle Karvinen and Andrea Dalen.

JVM player Emilia Bergeby Hallbeck is one of the young players that the club invests in.

- It's great fun, we've really come together as a team and won all the games big.

There are quite a few of us 06s anyway, and it's cool to play with Hanna, Michelle, Dalen and the more experienced ones and learn from them.

I look at them all the time and try to imitate them as best as possible.

She has played in the same chain as Olsson and Karvinen.

"A lot of speed"

- Fun, it's a lot of speed.

We try to release the pucks as quickly as possible to each other, have a fast game.

For a year, hockey life was completely different.

Emilia Bergeby Hallbeck was without a team after the TV puck and joined Göteborg HC, which was shut down this season for financial reasons.

- I think they wanted to invest in a young chain and that they wanted a few more Swedish girls.

Then they asked me, and I accepted together with some other friends, says Bergeby Hallback.

Gothenburg did not win a single match last year and many players left after great dissatisfaction.

Emilia Bergeby Hallbeck only played seven games before leaving the club.

"Bad environment"

- It wasn't very good team cohesion or something.

We made a joint decision, me, my parents and friends, to leave.

Does it feel sad that it was your first experience with SDHL?

- Yes, I didn't get the view other friends have of SDHL, it was a bad environment.

But I know it's better in the other teams.

What was it like when you made the decision to leave?

- It was actually a relief.

After JVM, Emilia Bergeby Hallbeck aims to gain new positive experiences from SDHL - with Frölunda.

- We have the best conditions here.

We have a great gym, mental coach, great ice training.

It is very professionally built.

I think you have very good opportunities to develop in Frölunda's organization.
