It was Norwegian dominance when the men's slalom was decided in the Swiss Adelboden earlier today.

Lucas Braathen won and Atle Lie McGrath finished second.

The celebration that followed was substantial.

- I can't believe it's true.

What is happening today is something Atle and I have talked about for as long as I can remember, says Braathen.

And his childhood friend Atle Lie McGrath was just as happy.

- Today would be a day of show and we would deliver, and as we delivered.

We have been talking about this since we were 12 years old and so it happens in Adelboden on a Sunday in front of 30,000 spectators.

This tops it all, says McGrath in Viaplay's broadcast.

Sweden's Kristoffer Jakobsen crashed out in the first run.
