Frida Karlsson was completely pumped after the finish and the victory in the Tour de Ski.

Three hours after the finish, SVT Sport met the cross-country star at her hotel.

- It was really a club that hit.

First it gets super super dumb in the arms and legs.

The body doesn't want to but the head really does.

It will be a strange journey at the end.

I don't remember much about the last 100 meters, says Frida Karlsson.

For Karlsson, it is not the first time that she has gone completely out and collapsed in a similar way.

"Getting quite scared"

- Something like this has happened before.

It scares me quite a bit, there's some kind of panic too.

But hey, it happened and I finished the tour, which was the big goal.

I'm super happy with how I still fight all the way to the finish line today.

Karlsson admits that it felt a little shaky already after yesterday's penultimate stage.

- I already felt yesterday after the finish line that it was a bit "dizzy" and such.

It's hard with the energy of a tour and all that it entails.

Frida Karlsson had a lead of 1.12 minutes before the decisive stage, but lost a lot in the last kilometer of the climb.

In the end she still won with a margin of 39 seconds down to second place Kerttu Niskanen.

"Beginning to come to life"

She now hopes to be able to change and celebrate the victory.

- It's nice, I haven't really been able to enjoy it yet, but now I'm still starting to wake up, so now it will probably be different.

Karlsson receives SEK 900,000 in prize money for the overall victory.

- It's a big bonus, she says.
