On Friday, Swedish William Poromaa had the chance to climb the overall Tour de Ski.

The 22-year-old's closest competitors were already eliminated when it came time for his quarter-final.

But there was no advancement for Poromaa - who finished fourth in his heat.

Afterwards, he was also moved down to last place.

During the race, he stepped in front of the Frenchman Jules Chappaes, who fell dramatically.

- I looked back and thought it looked green.

But obviously not... We'll have to look into it, says Poromaa afterwards.

He was thus punished with a yellow card for the move.

- I didn't know that during the race.

I felt energized but didn't make it at the end.

But it was done anyway.
