Cho Jae-seong (OK Financial Group), who admitted to corruption in military service and was also investigated by the prosecution, was disqualified from participating in the professional volleyball 2022-2023 V-League All-Star.

The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) said, "Korean Air's Kwak Seung-seok and Pepper Savings Bank's Nia Reed have been decided as substitute players for the All-Star Game for OK Financial Group's Cho Jae-seong and Hyundai E&C's Yasmin Bedart (registered name Yasmin)."

This season's All-Star Game will be held on the 29th at Samsan World Gymnasium in Incheon.

In the first place, Jaesung Cho was selected for the 'M-Star Team' by the recommendation of the expert committee.

KOVO plans to refer Jae-Sung Cho to the Reward and Penalty Committee after the investigative agency's investigation is over.

However, a consensus was formed that players involved in unsavory things could not be sent to the All-Star Game, a V-League festival, and it was decided to exclude Jae-Sung Cho from the All-Stars.

Kwak Seung-seok, who ranked 4th in the fan vote, was selected as the substitute after three players (Na Gyeong-bok, Moon Seong-min, and Jeon Kwang-in) who were selected as all-stars among the men's M-star strikers.

Yasmin's injury prevented her from playing in the All-Star Game.

KOVO selected Nia Reed, who received the most votes (17,906 votes) among foreign strikers, as a substitute.
