Two semi-final matches were held on the 5th of the National High School Rugby Tournament, with Hyogo's Hotoku Gakuen, aiming for the first victory, and Higashi Fukuoka High School, aiming for the seventh victory, winning each to advance to the final.

The tournament was held at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka from the 27th of last month, and two semi-final games were held on the 5th.



The first match was between Kansai teams from Hyogo's Hotoku Gakuen and Nara's Tenri High School.



In the 16th minute of the first half, Hotoku Gakuen led 12-0 with Hasegawa Ryo running alone on the right side and scoring a try.



In the 11th minute of the second half, Tenri pushed a maul from the lineout in front of the opponent's goal.



Despite this, Hotoku Gakuen extended their lead once again with Hikaru Kitani scoring a try in the 22nd minute to win 26-12 and advance to the final.



The second match was between Higashi Fukuoka High School and Kyoto Seisho High School.



Higashi Fukuoka aggressively attacked from the beginning, and FUJII Tatsuya scored the opening try in the 7th minute of the first half.



On the other hand, Kyoto Shigeaki showed his determination in the second half by scoring two tries just before the end of the game after Substitute Makoto Eguchi scored a try, but Higashi Fukuoka defended their lead and won 45-17. We advanced to the finals.



The final will be held at Hanazono Rugby Stadium on the 7th, with Hotoku Gakuen aiming for their first win and Higashi Fukuoka aiming for their seventh win after six tournaments.
