The Saudi club Al-Nasr presented its new player, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, to tens of thousands of spectators, who were crowded with the stands of the "Marsoul Park" stadium, the stronghold of "Al-Alamy".

Ronaldo said - during a press conference previously presented to the fans - that he is "proud of his decision and that he is happy to come to Al-Nasr and the Saudi League because it is a competitive tournament and the fans follow it with passion."

He added, "I completed my mission in Europe well, won all possible titles and played with the best teams in the continent, and I am facing a new challenge in the continent of Asia, and Al-Nasr club gave me this opportunity to immerse myself in a new experience in the world of football and form a source of inspiration for the current generations and for young men and women, and I am proud I am very excited about joining Al-Nasr Club.”

In turn, Musli Al Muammar, president of Al-Nasr Club, refused to disclose the value of the deal or the salary that was paid to Ronaldo, but he confirmed that most of the news published about the deal were incorrect.

He added, "A lot of news circulated about the deal, and it is a legitimate right for the press to search for and delve into the details, and most of the news that was published about the deal is incorrect, the presence of a star in Ronaldo's fans with a club with a history of victory and in a competitive league like the Saudi League that attracts new sponsors."

And he continued, "There are already new sponsors who came to victory after signing with Ronaldo, as the returns will be great, and when we reveal the details - at a later time - a lot of jurisprudence will be denied. Ronaldo is the best player in the world and deserves the highest salary in the world."

He revealed another aspect of the negotiations that reflect Ronaldo's "professionalism", and said, "Apart from the salary and the deal, Ronald insisted that he be treated like the rest of his teammates in the matter of rewards, facilities, training places and many things. The clubs that dealt with him previously confirm his professionalism."

And media outlets, including "Marca", reported that Ronaldo, the former star of Manchester United, will receive 200 million euros ($ 211 million) per season during his time with the Saudi victory, with whom he signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
