Ida Dahl made her Tour de Ski debut in Val Müstair, where it was a strong 14th place.

Now the competitions have been moved to the heat in German Oberstdorf.

Ida Dahl, who also runs the Ski Classics long-distance cup, will be faced with a different set-up.

In Ski Classics, she is used to mass starts.

When she stands at the starting line in Oberstdorf, an individual start awaits instead.

- It will be a lot of fun, I usually run a mass start, so it will be fun to do something else, she says.

Is there anything new that needs to be considered?

- The opening speed is important.

Especially on this track, it's very tough.

So you can be penalized if you open too eagerly.

For me, it's about having a more controlled opening.

Could it be a top 10 finish?

- Then it will go very well, I think.

But of course it would have been fun, says Dahl.

The women's race, 10 kilometers, classic style with individual start, starts at 11.45.
