Kim Yong-bin, chairman of the Korea Curling Federation, who had been asked to resign due to the company's financial difficulties, eventually withdrew from the sports world.

Concerns are growing about the impact on the curling federation as well as professional basketball.

bin, president of the curling federation, voluntarily resigned from the federation president and director of the Korea Sports Association.

It has been 12 days since Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, the president of the federation, was in serious business difficulties such as wage arrears and was asked to resign from the union.

Chairman Kim said, "For the time being, focus only on company management. I will," he said.

The curling federation, which was unable to do so and withdrew midway through, is in danger of falling into financial difficulties again.

While there are concerns about whether the mixed doubles and senior curling world championships will be held in Gangneung in April, the professional basketball world is no exception.

Carrot, a professional basketball team run by Day One Sports, a subsidiary of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering & Construction, has already caused controversy by paying 500 million won for the first KBL subscription fee late, and is known to have failed to pay the acquisition price on time to its predecessor, Orion.

In the midst of this, as the management difficulties of the parent company worsen, the voice of distrust is getting louder.
