The only Swede to stand out in the game was Colorado's Andreas Englund, who received a five-minute suspension after getting into a fight with Las Vegas' Keegan Kolesar.

It was the fourth game in a row without a win for Colorado.

In connection with the match, the team's coach Jared Bednar gave sad news about the Swedish team captain Gabriel Landeskog.

Bednar said Landeskog, who had knee surgery last fall, is "not close" to returning to action.

When Landeskog underwent surgery, Bednar said he thought the Swede would be back in action by mid-January, which now doesn't seem feasible.
