A dizzying accident occurred in which a player collapsed from cardiac arrest during an American professional football NFL game.

Buffalo defender Damar Hamlin collapsed backwards after attempting a tackle during a game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills at Peico Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Medical staff immediately rushed out and started CPR to restore Hamlin's stopped heart.

At that moment, not only Buffalo players but also opponents, Cincinnati players, began to surround Hamlin.

It was a camaraderie to protect them from the eyes of the relay cameras and spectators.

After Hamlin's collapse, the shocked players comforted each other.

According to the Associated Press, Hamlin, who received emergency treatment, was transported by ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Hospital 16 minutes after collapsing.

"Hamlin received immediate medical attention from team staff, medical staff and local paramedics and is in critical condition," the NFL said.

Even after that, the players continued to pray on their knees on the ground and then left the stadium helplessly.

With the home team Cincinnati leading 7-3, the game was immediately stopped.

The NFL has announced a postponement of the game, and a resumption date has not yet been set.

Hamlin, who was drafted by Buffalo with the 212 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2021 draft, has established himself as Buffalo's starting safety straight from his first year with the club.

The safety, which is similar to the final defender in soccer, is responsible for stopping the opposing striker who is aiming for a touchdown with an accurate tackle.
