All eyes are on the Saudi capital, Riyadh, where the Saudi club Al-Nasr is preparing to present its new Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, today, Tuesday, at 7:00 pm local time (4:00 pm GMT).
And on social media, the hashtags welcoming “The Don” topped the Twitter platform in Saudi Arabia, where fans of the star are waiting for his debut in the Saudi team’s shirt, while it was announced that the entire proceeds of the presentation ceremony would be allocated to a charitable platform concerned with supporting the most needy groups.
The Saudi club Al-Nasr will present its new player on the grounds of the “Marsool Park” stadium in Riyadh, wearing the “Al-Alamy” uniform, accepting its logo, and taking “selfies” with the fans behind him.
30,000 spectators will gather when Ronaldo is introduced by club president Musli Al Muammar and Mohammed Al-Khuraiji, one of the honorary supporting members of Al-Nasr Club.

The hashtag “#HalaRonaldo” topped the list of the most interactive hashtags in Saudi Arabia on Twitter this morning, Tuesday, followed by the hashtag # Cristiano_Ronaldo.
Al-Nasr Club, through its official account on Twitter, published pictures of the moment Ronaldo arrived in Riyadh, and was received with flowers by children from Al-Alamy supporters, to celebrate his joining the team.
Al-Nasr wrote in the tweet, celebrating the arrival of the captain of the Portuguese national team, "Najd Al-Azma receives the beloved of fans around the world. Al-Nasr club player Cristiano Ronaldo arrives in Riyadh."

Saudi activists interacted through their personal accounts on Twitter with the hashtag "HalaRonaldo#", and shared videos and pictures of Ronaldo's reception, as well as his welcome panels that decorated the streets of Riyadh.
And the Saudi photographer, Yasser Bakhsh, published a video clip in which he said that it was for the Boulevard screens, which were adorned with the image of the legendary Al-Nasr player, Ronaldo, during his arrival in Riyadh.

Contract and value
Last Friday, Al-Nasr club announced the contract with Ronaldo (37 years) for two and a half seasons, starting from January 2023 until June 2025, in a free transfer deal, coming from Manchester United, England.
It was reported that Ronaldo will receive 500 million euros (more than two billion Saudi riyals) during his contract with Al-Nasr, which is the highest salary in the history of football.

Al-Khereiji, who played a major role in settling the Ronaldo deal, said, through his Twitter account, "A different value is added to our country that enhances its position in marketing and investment... Football is an industry and our sport deserves more... An important deal, and we hope to see the same in our league."

In a related context, the Saudi Al-Nasr Club revealed the destination of the entire proceeds from the ceremony to present Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo to the fans.
The club published a tweet on its Twitter account announcing the arrival of tickets for the "awaited event", calling on the fans to take the initiative to book tickets, the entire proceeds of which will be allocated to the "Ihsan" platform for charitable work.
