The ninth round of the women's ski jumping World Cup was held in Slovenia on the 1st, and the top Japanese player was Sara Takanashi, who finished 10th.

The ninth round of the Jump Women's World Cup was held on a normal hill with a hill size of 94 meters, which also serves as the final match of the "Jilvester Tournament" that competes in four games over the year-end and New Year holidays.

The first jump was a "knockout format" in which 50 people competed one-on-one, and Takanashi caught a favorable headwind and marked 92 meters, approaching the hill size.

Although he won against the Slovenian player he faced, he did not land well and finished in 11th place overall, 11.6 points behind the top.

In the second round, which was contested by a total of 30 players, including the winner of the first round and the top five players who lost, he was unable to improve his flight distance to 87.50 meters in an unfavorable tailwind, and finished 10th with a total of 233.5 points.

The other Japanese drivers were Nozomi Maruyama in 13th, Yuki Ito in 15th, Yuka Seto in 18th, and Rinko Miyajima, who failed to advance to the second round, finishing in 34th.

The winner was Eva Pinkelnig of Austria, with a total of 253.4, her fourth win of the season, and three wins in the "Silvester Tournament" to win the overall championship.
