Switzerland was down 1-3 before the third period and felt counted on several occasions.

Nevertheless, the team managed to catch up and force extra time.

When it was goalless, the match was decided by a penalty shootout, which was extended.

First with the 20th penalty, Rodwin Dionicio scored the winning goal 4-3.

- That's how you should decide a match, said SVT's commentator Chris Härenstam about the handsome penalty.

But the big snack was a rare variant from teammate Liekit Reichle - who does his best in the clip above.

- Well, he has the puck past Gajan (the goalkeeper in Slovakia, editor's note).

He does everything right, but doesn't put it in.

It is a different punishment, says Härenstam.

- Yes, it really was, adds expert Mikael Renberg.

"We hope it will be a goal"

Renberg also points out that goalkeeper Adam Gajan makes a good save.

- Look how nice he is with his left shin guard, it's so well done by Gajan.

Expert colleague Jonas Andersson also liked the attempt.

- It was nice.

Sometimes you almost hope it will be a goal because they are so nice, a bit like with Hartikainen's penalty in the Euro Hockey Tour.

In addition to the victory, Reichle can take solace in the fact that he scored a goal and an assist during regular time.
