American freestyle swimmer Anita Alvarez passed out in the pool after her number at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest.

Alvarez had to be rescued from the bottom of a pool by his trainer, Andrea Fuentes.

American Sydney McLaughlin broke her own world record in the 400-meter hurdles during the World Athletics Championships in Eugene.

The 22-year-old was totally superior throughout the race, taking gold by a good margin and beating his own world record by 73 (!) hundredths.

The Swedish triple jumper Jesper Hellström offered a strange jump in his first EC final.

Hellström took a wrong step and ended up landing on his back in the sand.

The clip went viral and Hellström finished in 10th place in the final.
