The Parisians won this Wednesday at home against Strasbourg.

A long-awaited 16th day of Ligue 1 for French football fans, who welcomed the second goal scored by Kylian Mbappé in the 96th minute of the game.

And despite the World Cup defeat against Argentina, Kyk's is far from having said its last word.

The 16th day of Ligue 1 marked yesterday by the snatch victory of PSG against Strasbourg.

Held in check by the Alsatians and outnumbered, Paris relied on Kylian Mbappé, barely back from the World Cup, to win in added time.

A penalty in the final seconds which is not without reminding us of certain emotions of the World Cup.

On the lawn of the Parc des Princes, the joy is sincere and not contained.

Shirt in hand, Kylian Mbappé celebrates his victory penalty against Strasbourg in the 96th minute, as if he had scored one in the World Cup final… An outlet for the PSG striker, barely 10 days after the Argentinian success against the Blues.

Christophe Galtier hails his prowess on the pitch

Result: a 56th goal in 56 matches in 2022. And a strong symbol of his takeover at PSG.

"He was a trigger for the victory, when the match was badly off to a certain point", underlined Christophe Galtier, the Parisian coach.

"Through his selflessness and determination, he coached the whole team."

Paris, which will need its boss on Sunday in Lens, in the absence of Lionel Messi still on vacation and Neymar suspended after his stupidly received red card on Wednesday evening.
