A shocking surprise.. 50% of Egyptian league players take a drug before participating in matches (video)

Former Zamalek and Egypt player Ahmed Hossam Mido revealed a shocking surprise about the Egyptian league players, noting that 50% of the players take a drug before playing matches.

Mido said on the "Remontada" program on Al-Mehwar channel that the reason for the decline in the level of some Egyptian league players during the last period was due to their obtaining an alternative to cigarettes, which is a drug called "Snous".

He added, "There is a substance placed under the tongue that Egyptian league players use and affects their concentration, and this matter negatively affects the players and contributes to a decline in their level."

And he continued, “I do not know why the clubs did not act against their players who abuse that destructive substance that causes the player to delay his return from injury and greatly harms him, in addition to the players being constantly injured.”

He pointed out that this drug gives players energy and relieves them of psychological and social pressure, as the player feels as if he is in another world, and there are players who use it as if they are smoking cigarettes, and they cannot play without them.

The snus is one of the tobacco products that is used without smoking, as it originated in Sweden in the nineteenth century, and it is used by placing it between the upper lip and gums for a period of time.

Snus does not undergo fermentation, and although it is used orally, it does not need spitting like American dip tobacco, and it is steam pasteurized.
