The coaching staff of the UAE national football team, led by Argentine coach Rodolfo Arubarina, announced the final list of the team, which included 26 players out of 35 who were selected in the expanded list that was announced recently, to start an internal preparation camp in Dubai, starting today, Monday, and continuing until the second of next month. The date of travel to the Iraqi city of Basra to participate in the 25th Gulf Cup scheduled there from 6 to 19 January next, and the national team will play a friendly match on the 30th of this month against the Lebanese national team at Al Maktoum Stadium at Al Nasr Club in Dubai.
The striker of the national team and Al-Jazira club, Ali Mabkhout, is the most prominent player excluded from the final list.
