The conclusion of the “Asian Bow and Arrow” event at Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled

Today, the Asian Bow and Arrow Championship 2022 (the third stage) concluded, which was held over 5 days at Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled, with the participation of 200 male and female players representing 31 countries, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

The results of the convex bow category for women’s teams resulted in China Taipei winning the gold, South Korea winning the silver and Vietnam winning the bronze, while India won the men’s team men’s convex bow category gold, South Korea winning the silver and Kazakhstan the bronze.

Chinese Taipei won the gold in the men's convex bow category, India won the silver and Uzbekistan won the bronze, while the men's convex bow category won the gold, South Korea won the silver and China Taipei won the bronze.

The convex arc competition for women witnessed a strong and exciting struggle for the first places, before it was decided by the Kazakhstan team by winning the gold, and the silver went to Bangladesh and the bronze to India.

The coronation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at the General Sports Authority, Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, President of the Emirates Bow and Arrow Federation, Dr. Tariq bin Khadem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Trust Club for the Disabled, and Humaid Al Musharrakh, Secretary General of the Emirates Bow and Arrow Federation. Hassan Al Mazrouei, member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, Thomas Han, Vice President of the International Federation, Kazi Chabul, First Vice President of the Asian Federation, Tariq Amiri, President of the Sudanese and African Federations, Dr. Mohamed Sharif, Vice President of the African Union, and Abdullah Al Hawas, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Federation.
