Brazil reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar and after the penalty shootout loss against Croatia, Tite left the role of national team captain.

L'Equipe writes that Brazil's football federation wants to see a foreign federation captain and will then have Zidane as a hot option.

But the question is how appreciated is it by Brazilian national team supporters?

Zidane scored two goals and was named man of the match when France defeated Brazil 3–0 in the 1998 World Cup final.

The French football legend has coached Real Madrid on two occasions where he won three consecutive Champions League titles, 2016-2018.

Zidane has been linked with the coaching job at Paris Saint-Germain and he has also said he is interested in taking over as France captain if the gap arises.
