Netflix wants to help its users maintain their fitness.

The platform announced in a blog post published on Wednesday that it will soon be putting fitness classes online.

Called Nike Training Club, this program will include several episodes, ie around thirty hours of exercises.

The programs will be available in several languages.

The workouts will be for all fitness levels and will cater to multiple interests.

The program will be launched in two batches.

The first will be online from December 30, for those who would like to anticipate the excesses of New Year's Eve.

Other programs will arrive later, during 2023.

Different themes

For the first version of Nike Training Club, users will have access to:

- Getting started with the basics (13 episodes)

- Two weeks of muscle building (7 episodes)

- Falling in love with Vinyasa Yoga (6 episodes)

- Blow and Force (14 episodes)

- Feeling Good (6 episodes)

Each class is led by a Nike-certified sports instructor.

Unlike Apple Fitness + or Peloton available in the United States, it is not possible to see your heart rate displayed on the screen, specifies Numerama.

With these new videos, Netflix is diversifying.

It is unknown, for the time being, if the platform intends to go further and offer other fitness-related content.
