Dembele makes a surprising move to Saint-Germain, days after the World Cup final

French star Kylian Mbappe surprisingly returned to Paris Saint-Germain training today, three days after his country lost the Qatar 2022 World Cup final to Argentina.

The Parisian club posted a video on its Twitter account showing the attacker exiting a minibus and entering the Saint-Germain training center.

Another tweet included the phrase, "Kylian Mbappe returned to training Wednesday."

Mbappe's return to training was a remarkable step in its timing, given that the players who participated in the World Cup will be given leave for at least ten days before joining their teams.

Mbappe, the World Cup top scorer (8 goals) and hat-trick in the final, was expected to return as of January 2023.

It is clear that the player who appeared affected by the defeat of the “Roosters” by penalties against Argentina in a fiery final, wanted to speed up his return to the stadiums, the day after his twenty-fourth birthday.

Mbappe's exercise program has not been determined by Saint-Germain, who will face Strasbourg on December 28 at the "Parc des Princes" in the resumption of the French League, and then against Lens on January 1.
