The centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, on June 10 and 11, 2023, will be sold out, the organizers announced on Wednesday, who are expecting a "new historic record" in attendance.

In a press release, the ACO confirms that the race on June 10 and 11, 2023 will be sold out.

"Put on sale on October 21, tickets to attend the Centenary edition are no longer available (...) this edition will beat a new historic record" of attendance, said the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) in a press release.

The previous record dates from 2015, with 263,500 spectators.

However, it is still possible to attend the tests, specifies the ACO, thanks to the "Test Entry" tickets still available.

They allow, in addition to free practice, to also participate in the qualifiers and the Hyperpole on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8.

One hundred years after the first edition in 1923, the legendary Sarthe race will see the return of several big names in motorsport such as Ferrari, Porsche, Cadillac or Peugeot, which has already raced in the WEC in 2022 but after Le Mans.

The start will be given on Saturday June 10 at 4 p.m.
