Edvin Anger has had a successful start to his World Cup career where, among other things, he has been fourth in a sprint.

The Swedish talent is now rewarded with a WC place, as the cross-country national team selected the first Swedish skiers who will be able to run the championship.

- A great feeling.

When you think about it a bit, it's a bit unrealistic, to come from the junior age and take a direct place at the WC, he says.

Edvin Anger has been determined during the season, and chose heat 1 after the sprint prologues.

A heat that is usually the toughest, among other things he has faced Johannes Höstflot Kläbo when he was involved.

Now he explains how the tactical choices of the winter will benefit him in the upcoming championship.

- Actually, I have thought that the first heat in the WC is a risk.

It's so much harder and easier to go to a semi in another heat.

But I don't want to go to the WC to get to a semi, but to perform in a final.

I think the best way is to go in the toughest heats all the time.

It builds a hardness, that's what I'm looking for, he says.
