After Friday's success, Anna Magnusson and Linn Persson came out as first and second in Saturday's hunt start in Annecy.

Both Magnusson and Persson were passed to the first shot, among others by Elvira Öberg who flew up the field from eighth place.

All three Swedes at the top shot full in the first prone shooting, where Elvira Öberg was the fastest of all and went out in the lead with Magnusson and Persson in third and fourth.

Elvira Öberg continued her brilliant skating and combined it with flawless shooting even at second lying.

On the other hand, the French Julia Simon was a little faster out of the embankment and took the lead just in front of Öberg.

Magnusson shot another zero and finished fifth, while Linn Persson missed a shot and slipped down to eighth.

Continued to shoot full blast

Simon and Öberg were clearly the fastest to the third shot, standing like that.

There, Simon shot quickly, but missed a shot and was forced into a penalty shootout.

Elvira Öberg took her time and shot full and thus had a 15 second lead against Simon out of the dike.

Anna Magnusson and Linn Persson fell behind in the skiing but were still stable in the shooting.

Both shot hard in third, with Persson finishing seventh and Magnusson eighth.

Julia Simon made up time against Elvira Öberg until the last shot and they stood side by side and shot.

But Simon shot two misses at the same time as Elvira Öberg shot full and secured the victory ahead of Italian Lisa Vittozi and Julia Simon.

Elvira Öberg was the only one among the top 30 riders who shot full.

It was precisely in the chase start in Annecy last year that Elvira Öberg took the first World Cup victory of her career.
