There was a downpour over Rome when Roma received St Pölten.

This meant that the ball hardly rolled at all and thus the decision was made to pause the match after only a few minutes.

- It was the head referee, Cheryl (Foster), who said we should stop for the safety of the players.

The rest of us in the team agreed with her.

In consultation with the delegate and match director, we decided to resume the match when the rain subsided and the arena staff helped remove the water from the pitch, says Tess Olofsson.

The match was able to resume around 70 minutes later.

- It is not optimal for the players with a long break, but both teams were satisfied to be able to complete the match tonight and not postpone it until tomorrow, says Olofsson, who has actually been involved in a similar situation before:

- I have been involved in a similar match in the elite league in Karlstad when Qbik played, but it has been many years now.

Roma won the match 5–0 after the goal celebration took off at the end.

The home team scored their last four goals in the last eight minutes of the match.

Thus, they are ready for the playoffs already the first time they participate in the Champions League.

None of the team's three Swedes got playing time in the match.
