Linn Svahn, Jonna Sundling and Moa Lundgren were all back from injury and illness when the Scandinavian Cup starts in Östersund.

For Svahn, it is the second competition of the season after the victory last weekend.

Then the Swedish ladies impressed.

Svahn, Sundling and Lundgren all made it to the final, after finishing first, second and fourth in the same semi-final heat, with Lundgren advancing on time.

Double Swedish on the podium

After a sprint drama, Sundling took home the victory in the first race of the season, while Svahn took third place.

Anna Svendsen, who was fastest in the prologue, took second place.

Moa Lundgren finished fourth.

- It feels good.

But nothing was free today.

It was a struggle from the first stroke to the last, says the winner in Expressen's broadcast.

On the men's side, it was heavier for the Swedes.

Emil Danielsson was the only Swede who progressed to the semi-finals and finished fourth there.

The winner was Lars Agnar Hjelmeset, even though the prologue Sivert Wiig took a big lead during the course of the race.
