Yesterday, the Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, inaugurated the third edition of the Dubai Equestrian Partners Forum, which is organized by the Dubai Equestrian Club and the Dubai Horse Racing Club, in the "Grand Stand" hall at the Meydan International Racecourse in Dubai, and it will be held over two days, with wide participation from those interested. The current third edition came with the participation of 500 personalities, 250 stables, 50 exhibitors, in addition to 25 media partners of the forum, in workshops and sessions that focused on the opening day on the role of equestrianism in the national economy.

The Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri, affirmed, in press statements, that the UAE is moving forward in laying the foundations of its new economic model, based on flexibility, innovation and pioneering thought, in a way that contributes to empowering various vital sectors and moving them towards new, more competitive horizons.

The horse industry is one of the most promising industries in the UAE, as it witnesses quantum leaps and tangible developments during the last stage, which contributed to the consolidation of the UAE's position as a major center for the horse industry in the region and the world, thanks to the forward-looking vision of the wise leadership.

The Minister of Economy affirmed: “Thanks to the vision and directives of the wise leadership, the UAE currently has a competitive and flexible investment environment and a strong and developed infrastructure in various economic and commercial sectors, including activities related to the horse industry, where nearly 2.1 billion dirhams have been spent on training racing horses, The average annual expenditure of equestrian clubs in the country reached 367 million dirhams, and the volume of the high-performance horse feed market reached more than 128 million dirhams, which contributed to the consolidation of the UAE's position as a major center for the horse industry in the region and the world.

In turn, Dr. Muhammad Issa Al-Azab said: "The third edition of the Dubai Equestrian Forum aims to shed light on the size of the horse industry."

He explained: «The horse and equestrian industry and its supplies sector represents an important economic aspect, so that the forum provides opportunities for specialists from suppliers and owners of services and modern systems to meet with decision-makers, horse owners and stables in order to conclude profitable deals for both parties».

The forum presents, through the various pavilions of the participating companies and institutions, the latest innovations and technologies related to the horse industry at the regional and global levels, and displays fodder and nutrition products, flooring products, preparations, veterinary services, stables technologies, and other various components related to horses.
