The long-distance star was injured in a World Cup competition in Ulricehamn in February 2021 and has not competed since the spring of the same year.

She raced the WC a couple of weeks afterwards despite severe pain.

Since then, there have been double shoulder operations.

- In the last one to two weeks, Linn has started doing the really hard intensity sessions.

These sessions give different reactions to the body and we need to see what happens the day or days afterwards with the shoulder and the rest of the system in the body, says her trainer Ola Rawald to SVT Sport.

The long absence means that a decision on the start may not be made until tomorrow.

- She hasn't done this fully in almost two years and also had the injury she has, so then it's hard to know what the reactions will be, it's not like just pressing a button and driving unfortunately, says Rawald.

At the same time that Svahn is preparing for the Idres Fis competition, her national team colleagues have headed to Beitostölen to compete in the World Cup.
