The Dutch club Ajax published - on its Twitter account - a picture of the Moroccan national team players, as they raised the shirt of their compatriot, former club player Abdelhak Nouri, after the historic qualification of the Atlas Lions to the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Dutch club commented on the image of the Moroccan national team, saying, "In the meantime, in the World Cup," and attached an expressive image indicating solidarity with the injured player.

Nuri had suffered a heart attack in July 2017, while participating with his club in a friendly match against German Werder Bremen in Austria, as a result of which he entered a coma as a result of permanent brain damage.

Nuri remained in a coma for a long time, and his family has been taking care of him at home since he was discharged from the hospital months after the accident, in the hope that his health will improve.

Twitter users praised that shot by the Atlas Lions players, expressing their heartfelt wishes for the injured player to recover.
