The Brazil coach's comment after the dancing incident in the Korea match... he could not resist

Brazil coach Tite said that his celebratory dance during his team's 4-1 victory over South Korea in the round of 16 of the World Cup is an expression of happiness with the strong attacking performance of his team and helps him to get closer with young players.

Brazil's players rushed to the bench after Richarlison scored the third within 30 minutes and Tite briefly joined his team's celebratory dance.

"We are trying to adapt to the players' personality. They are very young and I try to adapt a little bit to their language and dancing is part of it," the 61-year-old coach said during a press conference in response to a question about his movements.

He added that the players had told him before the match that they would make him dance with them if they scored.

Not everyone liked the initiative.

"People say it's their culture. But I think it's really disrespectful to the competitor," former Manchester United captain Roy Keane said, speaking to British ITV.

Titi has tried hard to stress that this is not true.

He explained, "There is no other explanation than the joy of the goal and the joy of the team and the performance. There was no disrespect for the opponent or for Paulo Bento (South Korea coach), for whom I have great respect."

Brazil advanced 4-0 to South Korea before the end of the first half, with goals from Vinicius Junior, Richarlison and Lucas Paqueta, in addition to a penalty kick by Neymar.

South Korea's goal bore the signature of Baek-Seong-ho.

Brazil will face Croatia in the quarter-finals on Friday, after the European team defeated Japan on penalties 3-1 after the end of the original and extra time with a 1-1 draw.
