All the elite players on the women's side are currently without a collective agreement after Elitfotboll Dam terminated it.

In addition, there is now criticism against a possible new proposal.

- It is of course unfortunate.

Collective agreements are important to have in place for the sake of the players, but also for us clubs to have a framework to relate to.

So that it has been terminated is not good and this negotiation has been going on for a very long time and now the players are in a bind, says Therese Sjögran and continues:

- We have spoken with everyone involved and the protection they have and the protection they have will be there for the rest of the year, so there will be no difference during the time we are active.

We have also conveyed that to the players and they feel secure in that.

So the players have protection right now anyway?

- Yes, they have exactly that protection (previous agreement) until the end of the year, but then we hope that a new agreement will be in place when we start again in January.

- The important thing is that the players feel safe and then they can also let go of that part.

It is clear that there will be concern and a lot of talk around it.

Then it is important for us as a club to be able to convey that they are protected.

What do you think if there is no agreement in January?

- We are also discussing that.

We haven't made a decision because we're waiting to see how it turns out, but of course we have to have something ready if it's delayed.

In these matters, I think you have to put the players first.
