The England national team star leaves Qatar after thieves broke into his home in London

British media reported that the England national team received a strong shock before playing its match against Senegal on Sunday in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup, after one of its stars left the camp due to thieves storming his home in the British capital, London.

The Telegraph newspaper stated that Raheem Sterling left the Qatari capital, Doha, upon receiving the news of the storming of his home in London, pointing out that the technical staff immediately agreed for the Chelsea player to travel to England to check on his family and home.

She pointed out that despite initial concerns about the possibility of Sterling returning to complete the tournament with the “Three Lions”, she stressed that Sterling might be able to catch up with the team’s next match in the quarter-finals against the defending champion, France.
