A fourth place and a third place went to Ebba Andersson in Lillehammer this weekend.

And before that a first place and second place in Ruka.

But now, instead of continuing the fine form, she has to cure herself at home to recover from covid-19.

She was tested after experiencing mild symptoms.

- Of course it feels very boring, and also a little special with such quick turnarounds.

From competition and podium to positive covid test and journey home.

It wasn't exactly the plan, but now the focus will be to cure myself and to come back when I feel ready, she says.

The national team will now try to stop further infection in the squad.

- The team will be quickly tested on an ongoing basis.

No one else is currently infected, and if people have been in close contact, we have quarantine procedures in place, says Rickard Noberius, national team doctor.
