Since Thursday, we officially know that the Tour de France 2024 will arrive in Nice on Sunday July 21, after an individual time trial.

This Saturday, the race director Christian Prudhomme indicated that this last stage would start from Monaco.

An announcement made alongside Prince Albert II, sovereign of a principality where several stars of the peloton reside, such as the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, double winner of the Grande Boucle in 2020 and 2021. No details have been communicated on the route or the length of the step.



This is the first time since 1905 that the Grande Boucle will not end in Paris, due to the Olympic Games which will take place in the capital that summer.

A return to the Principality, 15 years later
