Full shooting was enough for Linn Persson in the sprint in Kontolahti.

The Swede kept good speed in the ride and it took her all the way up the podium, to a third place.

It is the second time she is on the podium in an individual World Cup competition.

- It's great fun, of course I'm super happy with what I'm doing today.

I really have to work for it on the shooting range, it's not my fastest series, but I'm so proud that I put the shots, she says after the competition and when the podium is secured, she adds the following:

- I'm very happy, of course.

It's been a few years since I was last on the podium individually, so it's really fun.

Above her on the podium were Lisa Therese Hauser, who took home the victory and Lisa Vittozzi, who despite a crash came second.

The Öberg sisters fell away on the embankment

Hanna Öberg went out strong in the tracks, but in the first shot there was a miss and a penalty round.

Before the second shoot, however, the Swede had driven again for quite some time, but after putting the first three shots in the standings, Öberg finished with two misses, which placed her in 18th place.

Elvira Öberg almost copied her older sister's run, with a miss in the first and two in the second shoot.

As far as the skating was concerned, she was the fastest of everyone in the entire starting field, but with three barriers it was only enough for a twelfth place.

Anna Magnusson stood for a good sprint with only one miss, which came in the prone shooting, while Johanna Skottheim missed one in the standing, which for the latter was enough for 13th place.

Like the Öberg sisters, Stina Nilsson shot three bars.
