The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, celebrated the qualification of the Moroccan national team (Atlas Lions) to the second round of the 2022 World Cup, after its victory today over Canada and the top of Group Six in the tournament.

Sheikh Tamim raised the Moroccan flag amid an enthusiastic atmosphere in the stands, and distinguished celebrations from the fans who came to Al-Thumama Stadium, which hosted the match.

Video clips documented the celebration of the Emir of Qatar with the Moroccan fans, amid cheers and celebrations of the qualification of the "Atlas Lions" team for the second time in its history to the final price of the World Cup.

Hakim Ziyech's companions finished the first round with a 2-1 victory over Canada, raising their tally to 7 points at the top of the group, two points behind Croatia, who tied with Belgium.
