The reigning champion Villa Lidköping got off to a flying start.

Already after thirteen minutes they led 3-0.

First, Gustav Friman rounded the goalkeeper to make it 1-0, then Martin Johansson scored the next on a corner and after that Alexander Härndahl made it 3-0 played by the talent Alexander Karlgren.

At halftime they led 6-1 after star Christoffer Edlund had scored his first two of the evening.

- We are quite satisfied.

We said that we would bring a good result into halftime and we have, says Karlgren to Elitserien Play.

Already there, the match was of course over, even if Broberg reduced a couple of times.

But Villa continued to pile on and eventually won 11-3.

The loss was Broberg's second of the season.

League leaders Villa now await league third Edsbyn, also at Bortais.

- That is not at all true for us today.

It was one of the worst performances in a very, very long time, says Broberg's Jonas Nygren.
