The expected line-up for the "green" in the historic match against Mexico

The Saudi national team is in a historic confrontation when it meets its Mexican counterpart on Wednesday in the third round of Group C matches for the 2022 World Cup.

Al-Akhdar faces a real crisis due to absences, as the team lacks the services of 4 key players, Salman Al-Faraj, Yasser Al-Shahrani and Muhammad Al-Buraik due to injury and Abdullah Al-Maliki due to suspension.

French coach Hervé Renard is scheduled to make many changes in the Saudi national team squad to compensate for these absences.

The "green" squad is expected to include the following names:

Goalkeeper: Mohammed Al Owais

Defense line: Saud Abdul Hamid, Ali Al Bulayhi, Abdullah Al Omari, Sultan Al Ghanam

Midfield: Abdullah Atif, Muhammad Kno, Sami Al-Naji, Salem Al-Dosari, Firas Al-Buraikan

Offensive line: Saleh Al-Shehri
