Korean soccer has had a lot of fun with set pieces in World Cups.

Coach Bento also worked on set pieces in closed training, and the point to watch is whether he can confirm its power in the game against Ghana today (28th).

In past World Cups, the set piece has been the main scoring route in Korean soccer.

Twelve of their all-time 34 goals, or over 35%, came from set-piece situations.

He scored two goals from free kicks in the 2002 World Cup, which achieved a semi-final legend, and in South Africa in 2010, which achieved the first ever away round of 16, scored four out of six goals from set pieces.

Kim Young-kwon's opening goal, which laid the foundation for the 'Miracle of Kazan' that defeated Germany four years ago, also came from a set piece.

However, Bentoho scored only one set-piece in 10 World Cup qualifying matches.

Coach Bento has been putting it off as a lower priority because the opponent can prepare in advance if the type of set piece is revealed.

[Bento/Director of Soccer Team (Last March): Set pieces are not a priority, they are the last concern.

There are many other concerns to consider first in the process of scoring.]

From the convocation of Bentoho in September, free kick practice centered on Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in was captured, and Son Heung-min scored 3 goals with free kicks in the 6 evaluation matches just before the World Cup, and Ben Tuho scored 3 goals. Tuho is slowly having fun with set pieces.

[Jung Woo-young/Soccer national team midfielder: We have a lot of good kickers and a lot of physically excellent players, so the set piece can be the best weapon.

] The set pieces are being refined, but in the last game against Uruguay, Son Heung-min was in charge of the kicker, and 11 set pieces were left unsatisfactory.

As Ghana shows weakness in defense, such as allowing two goals from set pieces in an evaluation match against Brazil last September, it is noteworthy whether the set pieces that have been worked hard in private will shine in the match against Ghana.
