It was a collective cluster of ten skaters who changed the World Cup victory in the men's pursuit start over 20 kilometers.

On the last hill, Calle Halfvarsson came out of lane markings when he forced his way towards a podium place.

After a long jury deliberation, he was cleared and distressed.

Third place instead went to Federico Pellegrino.

- I can understand that it's a frustrating situation, I've been there many times myself, like last year in Lahti and then I was only up on the spruce branches, says the Italian.

Calle Halfvarsson said that he was not reached by the late information that you were not allowed to go outside the fir bushes uphill, while Pellegrino thinks that it was clearly communicated.

- He was outside and we knew they were marking the track.

It was a jungle today and we knew we needed to be smart at the end and take the right position at the right time.

He was perhaps a little too late.

After the finish, Pellegrino watched as Halfvarsson was called to the jury room together with Swedish leaders.

He feels for his opponent.

- I feel understanding.

But he showed very good form this weekend.

Next weekend it will be harder to beat him.
