This Saturday (5 p.m.), the France team faces Denmark for its second match of the 2022 World Cup. Before the match, Noël Le Graët returns to the microphone of Europe 1 on the last training session of the Blues.

The president of the FFF evokes the spirit of the group before facing the Danes and the case of Olivier Giroud.

The French team on the right track?

Facing Denmark, during the second meeting of Group D of the 2022 World Cup, the Blues can qualify for the round of 16 if they win.

For this match, Raphaël Varane returns as a starter, after being rested against Australia.

Jules Koundé, teammate of Ousmane Dembélé at FC Barcelona, is also established.

On Friday evening, Didier Deschamps' men trained for the last time before facing the Danes.

An encouraging session as explained by Noël Le Graët.

"Training went well last night. The players seem good about themselves and feel comfortable together despite the latest changes in recent weeks," said the president of the FFF.

Regarding the return of Raphaël Varane in the central hinge of the defense of the Blues, Noël Le Graët does not hide his joy.

"He is a major element of the team at the sporting level as well as at the human level. He is a man of great qualities who loves the France team", underlines the strong man of French football.

"Olivier Giroud will score more goals"

In attack, the departure of Karim Benzema and the double of Olivier Giroud created a new enthusiasm within the Blues.

By scoring twice against Australia, the AC Milan striker equaled Thierry Henry's record (51 goals for the France team).

A performance appreciated by the president of the FFF.

"He scored two wonderful goals and he could have scored more. He's in great shape, smiling and good with his friends. For me, he's going to score more goals. He deserves to break the record, he's a player who has always come back well, even as a substitute", specifies Noël Le Graët.

Even if France conceded the first goal against Australia, the president of the FFF seems confident in relation to the group of Blues.

"After the Australians opened the scoring, the team found themselves with a very attacking game. A style that I appreciate. The formation against Australia was very complementary and gave me a lot more", concludes- he.
