Even though the Swedes lost so much at Kläbo, they held it together against the rest of the field. Halfvarsson finished four – five seconds from the podium, which was all Norwegian.

Poromaa was ninth, provisionally.

At the first intermediate time after 3.1 km it was double Swedish: Calle Halfvarsson was 0.8 seconds ahead of William Poromaa.

They had six Norwegians right after them.

Kläbo was there six seconds after the Swedes.

At 6.1 km, Kläbo had turned the corner and was six seconds ahead of Halfvarsson and eleven ahead of Poromaa.

There was no one who could keep up with the Norwegian's speed and he almost went on to a superior victory.

The Swedes went the other way.

In the last 1.9 kilometers alone, he lost 15 seconds at Kläbo.
