With goalie colleague Jeremy Swayman on the injury list, Linus Ullmark has received a lot of confidence in the Boston Bruins - and he has really taken advantage of it.

A quarter into the regular season, Ullmark has won 13 of the 14 games he has played and has been a strong contributor to the Bruins' fine start to the season.

In Saturday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, however, bad luck struck.

After making a save, he was tackled by teammate Connor Clifton and left with his head on the ice.

Clifton immediately waved for the team doctor when he saw how much pain Ullmark appeared to be in.

A moment later, the Swedish goalkeeper left the ice while holding his right arm.

- It is an upper body injury.

It's probably nothing serious but we need to check it out.

We're pretty sure he's OK," Boston coach Jim Montgomery said, according to NBC.

The match was won by Boston 3–2 after David Pastrnak decided in extra time.
