The stage of the Russian Cup in Perm was not as stellar in composition as the previous ones.

However, there is so much competition in the girls' competition today that even in the absence of Adelia Petrosyan, who did not go to the tournament due to an injury, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva still had a serious rival in the person of Sofya Muravyova.

In the capital, the pupil of Alexei Mishin defeated the young figure skater due to the clean performance of both programs, while the student of Evgeni Plushenko skated the free program not in the best way.

And now the Muscovite has a chance to take a kind of revenge for that failure.

Muravyova won one small victory on Saturday.

She brightly performed under the song Proud, making an insignificant flaw when landing a triple axel: she slightly tilted her body forward.

But the hand stopped far from the ice, so the judges did not pay attention to him.

Otherwise, Sophia was impeccable and very emotional, which allowed her to show approximately the same result as in Moscow - 81.59.

At the same time, according to the girl, in the morning she was far from succeeding.

“I didn’t really set myself up in any way, I tried to ride exactly like in training.

In the morning, I didn’t cope with him very well, but in general I can say that he became stable, in training five out of five.

I guess I just don’t really like morning workouts, ”said Muravyova.

Tuktamysheva this time did not shine so brightly.

She superbly performed the triple axel at the beginning of the program, but then on the cascade she did not turn the sheepskin coat, and at the very beginning of the step sequence she stumbled out of the blue.

However, this did not upset the athlete.

The atmosphere is great, the audience is very supportive.

The judges did not close their eyes to the shortcomings and gave the skater 78.74 points for the rental, making it difficult for her to win the tournament, since Muravyova's free program is more difficult than Tuktamysheva's.

In third place is Ksenia Sinitsyna, who attracted attention at the Grand Prix stage in Kazan.

She skated great again to the lyrical "Lullaby" by Tchaikovsky, but due to the lack of ultra-c elements, she lost a lot (8 points) to Mishin's student.

At the same time, on Sunday it is also not ready to take risks, so it is unlikely to rise higher.

Recall that all last year the girl was recovering from an injury and even thought about ending her career.

“Also, instead of the Lutz-rittberger cascade, there will be a “Lutz-dupel”.

We decided with the coach to focus on pure skating in order to compete for the top three, ”the athlete explained.

The return of Semenenko

For men, by name, the tournament also looks a bit more modest than in previous stages.

However, this does not make it less interesting, because on Saturday the guys showed very good results.

First of all, I was impressed by Evgeny Semenenko.

For the first time after a head injury, he took part in competitions in Moscow, but then he still looked uncertain.

And it seems that the real return of the skater happened in Perm.

He was able not only to convey a complex image to the composition Adagio in G minor, but also to combine an ice performance with complex content: quadruple sheepskin coat and salchow, one of them in a cascade, as well as a triple axel.

As a result, the judges gave him 103.36 points.

After the performance, the skater admitted that he wanted to please his coach Tatyana Mishina, who came with him to Perm.

“I am satisfied with the rental.

While the maximum, there will be further complications only in technical terms.

In training after the injury, I already performed complex quads, but so far not so much because of stability, but because of the leg.

Still worried, there are moments.

But at the moment, what is in the program is painless, ”Semenenko said.

Do not lag behind Eugene and competitors.

Alexey Erokhov also announced three elements of ultra-si and performed everything.

Yes, perhaps not with such grace and emotion as Semenenko did.

However, for his performance, a student of Victoria Butsaeva earned a high 93 points.

Ilya Yablokov lost several hundredths to Erokhov.

Makar Ignatov and Artyom Kovalev did not look so brilliant that day.

The first fell off the axel, and the second did not finish several jumps, for which the judges severely punished him.

As a result, young Matvey Vetlugin was ahead of them, although the next student of Mishin still does not have quadruples in his arsenal.

Nevertheless, all three have earned more than 80 points, which means they also retain chances for medals at the Grand Prix stage.

Victory with injury

As expected, world champions Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov won the sports couples competition.

Their waltz this time turned out to be flawed.

The partner made a little mistake on the parallel jump, and in the end there was a desynchronization during the parallel rotation.

At the same time, it was clear from the face of the young man that the rental was hard for him.

Later it turned out why: the athlete went on the ice with damage.

“I have a microtrauma for about a week.

Perhaps the blots today are related to this.

After the performance, both grinned and decided that they just needed to take it easy.

Tomorrow we will go out to ride as if nothing had happened, but what choice do we have?

And the fight will unfold, most likely, only for the second place.

Anastasia Mukhortova and Dmitry Evgeniev are still on it.

However, their advantage over Ekaterina Chikmareva and Matvey Yachnikov is only three points, and the latter are playing at home, and they are provided with support from the stands on Sunday.

In addition, as it turned out, Mukhortova and Evgeniev also missed almost a week of training due to the illness of their partner, so it remains to be hoped that this fact will not affect the Sunday rental.

In ice dancing, the leaders decided not to go to Perm, and Sofya Tyutyunina and Andrey Bagin became the favorites of the tournament, who had only recently started performing together, but had already won silver at the fourth stage of the Grand Prix in the capital.

Pupils of Alexander Zhulin performed the rhythm dance well, taking into account the lack of rolling and injury of the athlete at the beginning of the season, and showed a result of 80.88 points.

“It seems to me better than it was in Moscow.

Personally, I lacked speed.

I feel that we are rolling calmly, but we need to add, maybe, emotions.

And so the rental, in principle, is not bad, ”said Bagin.

Elizaveta Pasechnik and Maxim Nekrasov lost quite a bit to them.

Their dance did not leave the audience indifferent: they began to applaud already in the middle of the performance.

And according to the partner, it helped them a lot.

“The public is completely different, especially when they start to support, you feel everything in a completely different way, it’s much easier for you to go,” Maxim admitted.
