Today, the curtain fell on the finals of the World Triathlon Championship "Abu Dhabi 2022" sponsored by Daman, which was hosted by Abu Dhabi for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa, and lasted for 4 days on Yas Island, with the participation of the most prominent triathletes around the world.

Frenchman Leo Bergere succeeded in capturing the (men's elite) title by winning the first place, achieving a record time of 01:44:14 hours, to become the first ranked in the world immediately after announcing his victory in the championship title, followed by the American Morgan Pearson in second place, achieving a time of 01. :44:25 hours, 0.09 seconds ahead of Belgium's Gilles Gens, while former world number one New Zealander Hayden Wilde came sixth, with a time of 01:45:13 hours.

The closing day competitions opened with the mixed and open relay Para Lumpy Triathlon, with the participation of 9 teams. The race included swimming for a distance of 150 meters, cycling for a distance of 4.5 km, and a run for a distance of 1.2 km.

The competition concluded with the victory of the Australian team 2, achieving a time of 01:03:47 hours, 2:59 minutes ahead of the American team 1, while the American team 2 came in third place, 3:12 minutes behind.
